Steve and Sarah met when they were 18 at Isle College. One day Steve texted Sarah and said "guess what? I like you". They had their first date at Thé Bar. Nine years later in November 2012 while on holiday in Mexico, Steve surprised Sarah with a trip to Virginia, USA. He took her to stay at the set where her favourite film Dirty Dancing was filmed at Kellerman's resort in Mountain Lake. It was here that Steve proposed and Sarah said yes!
